You will need to go to your personal account settings and enable an option like “allow to connect to 3rd party email clients”. You need to check with your email provider for details.

If all the data was filled in correctly, within a few minutes your mailbox will connect to Neaktor and you will be automatically redirected to the integration settings page, where you can:

  • Set task creation rules for the incoming messages
  • Define the list of users who will be able to use the connected mailbox
  • Configure the option of sending emails directly from the application.

If have any difficulties or questions during the setup, review the information below, or contact Neaktor support.

Connecting Google mailboxes (Gmail)

When you enter your Gmail address and password, you may receive the following message “Access error. Your mail server requires additional permissions. ” As a rule, this is directly related to the security settings of the Gmail server.

By default, Gmail classifies any 3rd party service or an application, including Neaktor, as less secure apps and blocks them.

In order to fix this, you need to log into your Google account and enable the appropriate permission.
